About Us

World is now in this moment of development of civilization in which the traditional society and economy based on industry, influenced by the processes of globalization and rapid technological development, will inevitably change in the information society and knowledge-based economy. It also means major changes in social and economic life (even if the labor market), mainly connected with the necessity of keeping pace and societies to adapt to new realities. As a result of these changes, every individual wanting to achieve success in life, will have to take up the challenge of continuous learning to use new tools and acquire new skills.

In the global information society, the fundamental problem of all of us, especially the learners will cope with information overload. According to American scientists in 2010, the amount of new information in the world will double every 11-72 hours. Some, as Vice President of IBM's Steve Mills argue that even faster - every 11-24 hours. This flood of information that is already experiencing, and we can not quite handle it handle, for example, trying to find in the thicket of information necessary for us to perform our work. In most countries the education systems do not include in the curricula of such item as "search and information management", which means that we rely solely on personal experience, which is mostly trial and error.

Therefore, one of the major powers, which will have to have everyone who wants to succeed in life made a personal or professional, will be the ability to search, filter and use for their own use of information needed to achieve personal or professional purposes. In the information society will be forced from time to time acquire new skills that will have to be updated in a similar way, as happens with the software in our computers. What we learn in school, will be largely a few years after its completion. Will therefore be necessary to undertake a systematic effort to lifelong education.
