Since the beginning of its activity our job is to educate students and assist researchers in the University's use of information technology in the learning process. Our goal is to support the traditional classes and lectures on a platform of educational activities and promote modern methods of education. We are only at Lodz University Center of Competence in the field of methodology, technology and organization of e-learning.

Department has an educational platform and other technologies (streaming media server, hardware and software) and can provide the interested departments, institutes, and factories katedrom Lodz - in particular, any employee wishing to use their class modern teaching methods - methodological and technological support.
We also operate a service for all units:

• Distribution of Microsoft software licenses
• The organization and operation of video conferencing (IP and ISDN)
• Internet broadcasts, video registrations (media coverage of teaching, conferences, etc.)
• Photo service
• Provide training for teachers (e-learning)
• Methodological and technological consulting.
  

Graduates of the undergraduate or master's with specialization other than English Philology not hold the appropriate certification language, interested in obtaining knowledge and pedagogical and methodological skills of teaching English, is not planning to teach in the school system.
